Let’s paint a brief and probably all-too-familiar picture of where you might be at right now…
**Phone alarm goes off**
You don’t move. Your brain registers that the alarm is ringing, but you remain curled up in the warm bed, thinking only of staying.
“Do I really have to leave?”
“Why do we need jobs anyway?”
"5 more minutes, mommm”
Then it registers – You’re grown adult now and you HAVE to get up.
Boooooooo.
You get out of the bed, use the bathroom, brush your teeth.
Throw on clothes and get yourself “together.”
**Check the clock**
Somehow, you are already late…
Grab a quick breakfast and coffee and it’s off to work.
You show up. Piddle around for an hour (check Facebook) before actually opening up your work inbox.
It’s not like you hate your job. Working isn’t something you mind terribly and you’re certainly not lazy. You actually do pretty well for yourself.
It’s just that you feel that there has GOT to be something more than this.
This cannot be it.
Is this all my life is going to be??
You hop on Google and start reading success after success story about bloggers. Reading how they make nauseatingly good money from blogging makes you feel inspired and motivated.
You’re ready to start blogging.
But just as you are getting re-inspired – a new project hits your desk.
Thoughts of seeing yourself lying on the beach in Nicaragua, and working from home start to fade away.
